Performance

HF-transformer conform to IEC/EN61558-2-17 for SMPS

 

HF-transformer, HF-inverter, ferrite trasnformer, SMPS transformer

Application

Suitable as HF-transformer for power integrations (TOPSWITCH,TINYSWITCH), Advanced Techology and ST(VIPer).  This size can also be built as a choke.

Voltages

according to customer specification, more than one input and output voltages are possible

Frequency

20 kHz up to 300 kHz, special types up to 500 kHz

Core material

N87 or PL7 for high power, with other materials it’s less power

Temperature class

F (155°C) if varnished and B(130°C) if potted

Temperature

Ambient 40°C, higher ambient temperatures decrease the power

Protective class

Fire class UL94V0, IP00 conform to DIN 40 050

Winding

with lacquered copper wire, HF litz, foil or triple insulated Furukawa wire, interlaced constrcution for best magnetic coupling

Construction

varnished under vacuum (open version) with class H varnish or potted under vacuum in a housing

Terminals

Print, SMD version or free wires

Safety

Margins to redeem air- and creepage distances. A screening is possible, but the secondary power will decrease.
