Description
|
|
The transformer is built in a housing IP 54. The abbreviation IP means, conform to DIN “International Protection” but is used as “Ingress Protection” in the english-speaking area.
“5” means: Even though dust infiltering it will be warranted that the device is working satisfactorily. Furthermroe it is not possible to get ingress to dangerous parts with a wire.
“4” means: Splash-proof; water that sputters from every direction towards the transformer may not have any harmful effects.
