To do a precise measurement of our cables we need a test current of over 200 A. The transformer that should generate this current should be built overload proof in case of defect cables. The connectors should be on terminals.

Solution

We build a high vurrent transformer in cubic geometry and use special EI metal sheets. Due to this the strayfield can limit the short-circuit current during overload. Additionally there is a temperature monitoring to protect against overload. The galvanic separation makes it possible to reach  the SELV safety small voltage on the high current side.
