Description
|
|
Reactor with capacitor for sine wave creation of the output current of a frequency drive. Longer lifetime of motor insulation with reduction of du/dt and noise reduction. Motors can be operated over long supply lines, in most cases a screened cable is not necessary, better EMC data.

Advantages of cut-cores compared to normal metal sheets in sinusoidal filters
|
|
- higher harmonics possible (8 kHz instead of 4 kHz)
- lower hum noise due to lower magnetostriction
- thin tape material possible, thus loss optimised
- generally lower losses compared to metal sheets
- magnetic flux along the tape windings
- smaller air gap due to tape winding
- optimal distribution of the necessary choke air gaps due to a free choice of cuts
- more than one air gap possible
- nano crystalline material available
- higher efficiency
- no holes that would disturb the magnetic flux
