|
|
PFC chokes are one or two winding chokes with toroidal core of soft magnetic powder material, wich is pressed. Offten used are the following core amterials:
- MPP (79%-81% Ni - 17% Fe - 2%-4% Mo) - HighFlux (50% Fe - 50% Ni) - Cool My, Sendust (Fe Si 9,6 Al 5,4) This cores are useable over great range of permeability and they have at low permeability a smaller
Lo/Ln factor as at hihg permeability. PFC toroidal cores are storage chokes for use in active pwer filter correction circuits. Withit are power factors of the device or intstallation with cos phi = 1 possible.
the chokes according to EN 61000-3-2. It is useable for frequencies up to 150 khz. The toroidal give the ideal geometric shape for the magnetic flux, this results a low magnetic stray field an low losses.
The winding is constructed for low magnetic voltage and is wound with low stray field. The dimension is determinated from the energy E = 0,5 L I2.
