- attenuation of current harmonics
- bridging of line failures
- limiting of peak current
use as a line reactor
- attenuation of current harmonics
- limiting of starting current
- realization of short-circuit voltage of 4% to line
use as a PFC reactor
- reduction of harmonics below the limits specified by EN 61000-3-2
- The dimension of the choke is determined from the energy E = 0,5 L x I². At forced cooling there is less dimension possible.
- If there is only a bit of overheating allowed, the dimensions will have to be larger.
